Mainly used for small batch prototype production, its advantages are fast time, low cost, and has a very good market competitive advantage. Before making a silicone prototype, you need to make a sample, which can be produced by cnc processing or 3D printing. Started to produce silicone prototypes, mixing the silicone and curing agent evenly. The appearance of the mold silicone is a flowing liquid, component A is silicone, and component B is a curing agent.
Vacuum exhaust bubble treatment: After the silica gel and the curing agent are evenly mixed, the vacuum and air bubbles are discharged. The time for vacuuming should not be too long. Under normal circumstances, it should not exceed ten minutes. If the evacuation time is too long, the silica gel will immediately solidify, causing a cross-linking reaction, making the silica gel piece by piece, unable to be painted or poured.
Brushing or operation process: Brush or infuse the silicone that has been evacuated through the bubbles. Pour on the product (Note: Before pouring the silicone, the product or model to be copied must be coated with a release agent). Then apply the silicone to the product, and the brush must be even. After 30 minutes, paste a layer of gauze fiber weft to increase the strength and tensile strength of the silicone.
The production of the outer mold: The general method is to surround the mold with plastic sheet or wood board, and use gypsum to fill the mold cabinet. Another way to use resin brushing. After painting a layer of resin, paste a layer of fiberglass cloth, then paint and paste again, and then repeat the two or three layers to complete the mold.
